Made from ultra-waterproof and windproof nylon Taslon taffeta, a tussah silk material made from New York Taslan processed yarn with a cotton feel. The front side is coated with Komatsu Matere's proprietary "Dantotsu waterproofing agent", which maintains its waterproofness even after repeated washing, and the back side is treated with "silent coating" for excellent moisture permeability and wind resistance.
