Asa Japanese Hemp is made from carefully produced Japanese hemp stalks, called “ASA” in Japanese. Since ancient times, Japanese hemp has supported everyday life through food, clothing, and shelter, while also carrying associations with natural materials and ritual culture. TOKYO KODO expresses the energy of nature through this incense and the quiet impression of smoke rising upward.

The incense contains hemp charcoal and fine natural wood powder. Each stick measures approximately 140mm and burns for around 20 minutes. The 40-piece pack is presented with washi paper made from mulberry, a paulownia box, and hemp string. Use with an incense holder and fireproof paper or ceramic plate; never leave burning incense unattended, and keep away from children, pets, humidity, high heat, and flammable objects.
