TSPTR is an acronym standing for Truth, Symmetry, Pleasure, Taste and Recognition, the five design principles of Louis Sullivan, American modernist architect, designer and 'the father of skyscrapers'. His viewpoint was that 'form should ever follow function' and we subscribe to that ideal.

Their garments channel the history of Americancounterculture and subcultures, exploring politics, music, protest, popculture and war. We have a passion for clothing with meaning, each TSPTRgarment has both great design and a great story. Combining our experience, creative backgrounds, and appreciation of vintage clothing to create garmentswith both a purpose and a narrative. From garment to accessory and old to new, TSPTRshare the stories we love that are true, soulful, and need to be heard.
Their clothes are ethically made inPortugal and Japan, using mills and factories where tradition, expertise andhuman dignity take precedence over the bottom line. The cotton we use isorganic and certified to GOTS standards. It has been produced in accordancewith organic farming standards recognized by GOTS.
They regularly donate portions of thierprofits to causes we believe in and speak out on issues we find important. Wehold a firm belief that all brands have a responsibility to the environment, and ensure all of our products are ethically made.
They believe in doing things their own way, with conviction, according to principles they determine their selves, going the extra mile to design, create, and test our products to be on parwith the vintage objects that we prize and respect. Our product not onlyaffects the lives of the people we collaborate with, but hopefully forges ameaningful connection with you as well. Take the trip, enjoy the ride!
