This cap was produced based on the watch caps that were widely worn by the U.S. Navy around the 1940s.
As a characteristic of watch caps of this era, the hem is knitted with a ribbed knit and sewn to prevent stretching, the crown body is knitted with a ribbed knit in high gauge, and the ceiling is knitted with a ribbed knit and sewn with a lock sewing machine.
The knitting method changes three times in one knit cap, and the sewing is packed with fine details consisting of two needles.
These techniques are reproduced in this highly-detailed woolen woven watch cap.
Because it is not folded over, you can wear it shallowly with one roll or deeply with two rolls according to your own styling.
