YASHIKI Sakurakage Knit Citron Yellow

YASHIKI's knit begins with writing a poem. It is made by spinning a beautiful and vivid landscape of the hometown. And what expresses the scenery and nostalgic memories is made as YASHIKI's sweater. The design inspiration comes from the Sakura tree reflections in the moat of Kanazawa Castle Park.
Small square patterns and diagonal lines on both sides of the body represent the reflection of Sakura in the moat water. In the center of the body, alternating square patterns symbolize the stone wall.
We used a technique called "double-sided knitting," weaving different colored threads on the front and back sides, creating a rich sense of depth through the use of two colors.
There is an icon Yako pattern on the cuff, which is a tribute to the classic kimono pattern.
The selected fabric is meticulously woven using a size 12 knitting machine and two strands of 40-weight double-ply yarn, resulting in a lightweight texture with a cool and comfortable touch, perfect for staying refreshed and comfortable even in the scorching summer heat.
This design is inspired by the traditional silhouette of Japanese kimonos and has become the flagship product of the YASHIKI brand, paying a unique tribute to the iconic garment.
The loose fit is suitable for various body types, allowing even those with more robust physiques to wear it effortlessly. At the same time, the design presents an oversized charm when worn by women, showcasing a fashionable silhouette.
